What is the Holocaust?
The Holocaust is known as the murdering of 6 billion European Jews. There were also millions of Gypsies and Homosexuals who were burned as well. Holocaust comes from the Greek language. "Holos" meaning "whole" and "Kaustos" meaning "burned". The Holocaust was led by the German Nazi's government during World War 2, with the leader of Adolf Hitler. Jews were viewed as aliens and a threat to the German community. As Hitler began his "final solution" of putting Jews in gas chambers and suffocating them. Germany was being ruled by Nazi's.
What led to the Holocaust?
The Holocaust involved many people who were in different situations and had different settings. This occurrence effected people living across Europe. A majority of Germans hold more moderate ways of injuring or harming others of which have a result of action or judgement. Jewish people where taken from their homes after going against the Roman Empire, Jews were then banned and many migrated to Europe. Stereotypes led to the abuse of Jewish people which were based off the killing of Jesus.
Who was Adolf Hitler?
Adolf Hitler was the German Nazi leader. He was born April 20, 1889 in Austria and died on April 30, 1945 in Germany. Hitler took on political work as an army political agent. Hitler was later put in charge of the party around 1920, the left the army to devote himself in improving his position, this is when he was renamed a Nazi. The Nazi party grew rapidly.
